Meet our Healthcare Resourcer
Ever wondered how a Recruitment Resourcer supports our consultants? We took a few minutes out to ask Claire, our healthcare resourcer, what she gets up to!
What is your role/duties on the Healthcare team?
As a Recruitment Resourcer on the Healthcare team, I am responsible for all elements of candidate attraction and interaction. From the very start of the recruitment process sourcing candidates, through to registration and finally onto our compliance sign off, it is my responsibility to speak with candidates to begin building a relationship with the aim of eventually placing them into a role that’s right for them.
Some of our candidates may be new to working with an agency, so it is incredibly important that I show continuous support in answering all enquiries that we receive from our candidates. It is essential to maintain a relationship that ensures you feel comfortable and confident in our services and are prepared to start any assignment through us.
What did you do prior to working on the healthcare team?
I joined Connect2Staff two years ago as an Apprentice Recruitment Resourcer on the Education team. Once I’d completed my apprenticeship, I continued on the Education desk, recruiting for early years professionals including Nursery Teachers, Nursery Assistants and Nursery Managers.
How have you found the transition?
The transition has not been too much of a challenge for me (thankfully!), this being due to previously recruiting for roles within childcare that required high compliance and vetting processes.
The Healthcare team is a joy to work within and, thanks to Jazz, I have been made to feel extremely welcome throughout the transition!
What do you enjoy most about recruiting on the Healthcare desk?
Personally, I love working in a fast-paced environment, which is definitely a characteristic of the healthcare desk! I also love getting out of the office and on the road, meeting some of our wonderful carers and holding registration days across the southeast.
How do you hope to progress on the desk?
At this moment in time, I love the role that I’m in and am open and hopeful to where it could take me. I’m learning more about this industry every day and cannot wait to see how much our team grows in the future!
