I'm currently supporting a client with the recruitment of an experienced Tribunal Officer to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong SEND/legal experience looking for a high-impact role with flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of SEND Tribunal cases (SENDIST)
- Prepare and submit responses, evidence bundles and witness statements
- Represent the Local Authority at hearings and mediations
- Work closely with legal teams, schools, and SEN services
- Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and processes
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Tribunal Officer / SEND Case Officer
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and tribunal processes
- Excellent written skills - able to produce clear, robust legal responses
- Confident liaising with parents, legal representatives, and professionals
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
