We're working with a forward-thinking local authority in Hampshire to recruit a Family Help Hub Team Manager to lead a dynamic, multi-agency service.

Pay Rate

  • Up to £47.50 per hour

Location & Working Pattern

  • Basingstoke, Hampshire
  • Hybrid working (office presence required in line with service needs)
  • Full-time locum contract

The Role

You will lead a multi-disciplinary Family Help Hub, ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting a team delivering early help and targeted interventions
  • Providing oversight of triage, referrals, and case allocation
  • Ensuring high-quality assessments, plans, and safeguarding practice
  • Driving strong multi-agency working across partner organisations
  • Leading on performance, quality assurance, and service improvement

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Previous experience as a Team Manager / Assistant Team Manager / Senior Practitioner
  • Strong background within early help, safeguarding, or front door/MASH-style services
  • Experience managing complex cases and risk
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
