Social Worker Assessment Team

Salary: £40235 - £44513 per annum
Location: West Midlands

 

Connect2Socialwork is recruiting experienced Social Workers on behalf of a local authority in the West Midlands to join their dynamic Assessment Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a restorative journey focused on improving outcomes for children and families.

As a Social Worker in this team, you will:

  • Work directly with children and families
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partner agencies
  • Respond to referrals in a timely, child-focused manner
  • Conduct assessments and investigations to determine appropriate support

Who We're Looking For

✅ Qualified Social Workers (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent)
✅ Minimum 2 years' experience in statutory social care
✅ Strong assessment and report writing skills
✅ Ability to manage complex caseloads
✅ Passion for improving lives of children and families
