Social Workers & Senior Social Workers - Assessment & Intervention | Slough

Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity within a supportive and forward-thinking service?

I'm currently working with Slough Children First to recruit Social Workers and Senior Social Workers into their Assessment & Intervention Team.

Pay Rate

  • Up to £40.80 per hour (DOE)

Working Arrangement

  • Hybrid working
  • Minimum 3 days per week in the office

The Role

Working within the front door service, you will:

  • Undertake assessments of children and families
  • Complete outcome-focused plans based on risk and need
  • Build effective relationships with children, young people and families
  • Work within multi-agency settings to safeguard and support families

Key Requirements

  • Social Work England registered
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience
  • Strong experience in:
    • Child & family assessments
    • Risk assessment and intervention planning
    • Multi-agency working
    • Writing high-quality reports and court work (desirable)
