Senior Social Worker - Safeguarding Team
We're recruiting on behalf of a highly supportive and inclusive local authority in Northamptonshire, seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Support & Safeguarding Team based in Daventry.

🔹 The Role:
You'll be working with children and young people subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and court proceedings. This role involves long-term, relationship-based social work, with regular family visits and collaborative planning to reduce risk and support families.
As a Senior Social Worker, you'll:
- Lead assessments, planning, and interventions
- Support and mentor less experienced colleagues
- Work closely with multi-agency partners
- Promote relational and strengths-based practice
- Help children remain safely with their families whenever possible
🔹 What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Social Worker with completed ASYE
- Registered with Social Work England
- Minimum 3 years' experience in children and families social work
- Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and frameworks
- Experience supporting junior staff is desirable
