Qualified Social Worker - Family Safeguarding

Connect2Socialwork is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a local authority in the Midlands for passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join their innovative Family Safeguarding Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Social Workers with at least 12 months of post-qualifying experience who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families. The Family Safeguarding Service offers a multi-disciplinary, whole-family approach, working collaboratively with professionals including Advanced Practitioners, Child Practitioners, Drug and Alcohol Workers, Probation Officers, Domestic Abuse Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and families from initial assessment through to child protection and care proceedings.
• Work creatively to help keep families together wherever safely possible.
• Collaborate within a fast-paced, multi-agency environment to deliver the best outcomes for children.
• Engage in regular supervision and career development opportunities.
