Qualified Social Worker - Adolescent Safeguarding

Connect2Socialwork is recruiting on behalf of a local authority in the Mid for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join their forward-thinking Adolescent Safeguarding Team.

This dynamic service supports young people aged 13 and above, working within a multi-disciplinary framework that includes Social Workers, Youth Workers, Substance Misuse Workers, IDVAs, and partners such as Barnardo's, Phase Trust, CAMHS, and the Citizens Advice Bureau. The team also collaborates closely with the Youth Justice Service, Housing, and the Exploitation Hub.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with young people at risk of extra-familial harm, including child criminal and sexual exploitation.
• Co-produce care plans with families and professionals to support positive outcomes.
• Engage in restorative practice using motivational interviewing techniques.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide holistic support.

The Adolescent Safeguarding Team is seeking qualified Social Workers with a minimum of 12 months post-qualifying experience who are committed to safeguarding young people and supporting them to remain within their family networks.
