We are currently recruiting an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join a well‑established Mental Health service in Hampshire. This is an excellent locum opportunity offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour and the chance to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out mental health assessments under the Mental Health Act (1983)
• Complete Care Act assessments and reviews
• Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs
• Work collaboratively with medical professionals, families, and partner agencies
• Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes
• Maintain accurate and timely case records

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker (Degree / Diploma in Social Work)
• Social Work England registration
• Proven experience within Adult Mental Health services
• Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Care Act
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
