Children's Home Registered Manager
Connect2Socialwork is recruiting on behalf of a respected provider for a Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic residential children's home in North West London. The home specialises in supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) through a trauma-informed, family-style approach.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting. They will be passionate about delivering high-quality care, maintaining compliance with Ofsted standards, and fostering a nurturing environment that prioritises the wellbeing and development of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home
- Uphold the therapeutic ethos and trauma-informed care model
- Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements
- Support and develop staff through supervision, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with local authorities, families, and external professionals
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's home
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, EBD, and trauma-informed practice
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) preferred
