The Connect2Staff Website ("the Website") is a service operated by Kent County Council Commercial Services, Gibson Drive, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, ME19 4QG, under contract with Kent Top Temps Ltd.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By reading and continuing to use the site you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site. You are advised to check this page periodically to review any changes as they are binding on you. Connect2staff may modify these Terms and Conditions at its discretion and at any time by updating the information published here.

Any references to "we" or "us" or "our" are references to Connect2Staff.

1. Registration

The details provided by you on Registering either as a jobseeker or recruiter are important and must be true, complete and correct. You agree to notify us immediately of any changes, which are relevant to your Registration by informing us on 0845 519 6913.

2. Your Information

2.1 We will respect your information and undertake to comply with all applicable UK data protection legislation currently in force. For full details please view our Privacy Policy. Other than as required by law, or as permitted by these conditions, we will not disclose your Registration details to any third party without your permission.

2.2 In order to maintain the integrity of our business we reserve the right to forward contact details to any regulatory authorities when requested to do so including the police; we may also forward contact details where a complaint arises concerning your use of the Website and where that use is deemed to be inconsistent with these terms and conditions.

3. Accessing Our Site

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

5.2 You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any service, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.

By breaching this provision, you would commit an offence under the Criminal Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with these authorities by disclosing your identity to the. In the event of any such breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.

5.3 To the extent to which your use, or the use by any employee or person authorized by you causes loss or damage to any person who has posted their CV on the Website, or any other person, you agree to indemnify us immediately on demand in relation to any such losses or damages attributable to you, including where necessary any legal and administrative, or technical charges that may arise from such use.

5.4 You agree not to use the Website or the services made available to you in such a way that causes the whole or part of the Website or such services to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or in any way impaired.

5.5 You agree to take full responsibility for the use of the Website made by you and accordingly you accept liability under these terms and conditions for third party use of the Website which is in breach of these conditions.

5.6 We reserve the right to suspend the services offered to you by Connect2staff if we have reasonable cause to suspect that you are in breach of any of the terms of these conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit either our or your liability for personal injury of death caused (respectively) by our or your negligence.

6.2 Subject to condition 5.1 above, except as set out in these terms and conditions, we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any lost profits, income or revenue; any loss of business; loss of data; any cost of replacement services; any punitive or exemplary damages; or any indirect, consequential, incidental or special losses or damages or any kind or nature whatsoever, howsoever caused; and, unless otherwise excluded under this condition, your exclusive remedy for any claim, loss or damages in any way related to any services provided or anticipated to be provided under these conditions shall be limited to the aggregate value of any service levels purchased from us. Nothing contained in this condition shall prevent either party from seeking interlocutory relief.

7. Termination

7.1 On successful registration and acceptance as a Connect2staff user, you shall be entitled to use the Website subject to these conditions, which will remain effective until terminated in accordance with the following provisions.

7.2 Your right to continue to use the Website will terminate immediately on written notice from us if you fail to comply with any of these conditions.

7.3 On termination you will destroy or delete as appropriate all material and content contained or provided to you for your use of the Website.

8. Disclaimer

Connect2staff make every effort to ensure that the information on this Website is accurate and up-to-date. If errors are brought to our attention, we will try to correct them. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by reliance on material contained in this Website.

9. Links to Other Sites

Certain links in our site, including hypertext links, will take you outside the Website. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the content available on linked websites is not defamatory or offensive. 11.1 Connect2staff endeavours at all times to make the Website as accessible as reasonably possible to all users. In no way do Connect2staff seek to deliberately discriminate against disabled users to access the Website service in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The laws and England and Wales shall govern these conditions and your use of the Website and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
